Christmas 2016: a Series of Black and White Portraits

One of my favorite parts about marrying into my husbands family has been getting to celebrate holidays with all the littles. It makes days like Christmas magical again. Since we aren't at the baby having place yet its always great (and exhausting) to get a little dose of it over the holidays. For this Christmas we locked ourselves in a cabin for 5 days with 7 adults, 4 littles and endless amounts of games.

My 3 neices made adventure out of every nook and fixture in the whole cabin. So of course I wanted to capture it all. I hope one day they look back on these photos with joy that these types of family traditions and togetherness were capture with such detail and care. I honestly just treasure getting to see their personalities evolve with each year.  So a series of black and white portraits just made since.
