The Blinn Spears Family: Downtown Durham Family Photography Session

Across the board family sessions are chaotic. Especially when you have a gaggle of little ones who you are trying to direct and capture. that's why I love families who are up for something different, something fun and something kid focused. They aren't insisting that everyone be perfect, they delight in capturing their family as it really is.

Bridget contacted me and told me she wanted something downtown that ended with ice cream. From that first moment I knew we would capture something energetic and colorful. Her four kids were full of personality and energy. We wandered through downtown Durham and captured memories not just poses. We photographed until we had almost zero light cause it was just so much fun to watch their family find so much joy with one another. My favorite part was definitely when we relaxed at The Parlour to get messy with chocolate ice-cream cones. I love being able to bring something special and unique to each family I work with. Each family has a story and I love being the person to tell it.
