I love getting to capture one family in different seasons of their story. From maternity to birth to newborn, each season has a different personality and energy. I got to meet this sweet family right before little Addison made her earth side appearance at their Maternity session. I got to capture them in their home snuggling up and preparing for their little girl to come and rock their world. Addison was going to be their first little one so it's definitely expected to go through a bit of awkwardness when it comes to celebrating with photography a little one you haven't met before. But I kept telling them both that once she was here this type of thing would immediately become easier. It's just a lot more natural to adore on a beautiful baby than just a growing baby bump (especially for new dads)

So I was not surprised to show up at the hospital right after Addison was born to see both mom and dad completely in their natural place. So much joy and comfortability filled the room. Nothing mattered (especially not me photographing them) because now their sweet little girl was in their arms. It's a beautiful transition to get to capture from all the curiosity and unsurity of pregnancy with your first to meeting your little one and getting to know them for the first time. Being overwhelmed with joy and praise at the tiniest little noises and faces. 

I was so honored to capture this family's story from Maternity to Fresh 48. Seeing the beautiful joy and change one little person can bring into the world.
