The Newborn Story of Jack O.
Celebrating the Homecoming of this precious little brother in Raleigh, North Carolina
Newborn sessions are by far my realest and most laidback session I offer (outside fo documentary birth of course:P). By nature they are all about capturing those little details and moments and each newborn story is so unique to the personalities of each family. I go into each with the same idea of pairings, groups and details but I swear no session ever turns out quite the same.
For this stunning family I was there to celebrate the homecoming of sweet baby Jack. Who was surrounded by the love and adoration of not only mom and dad but two big personalitied sisters. Seeing the laughter and joy in their home was truly beautiful. I love how with home sessions you really have to learn to adapt, rarely does every person want to participate at the same time (especially juggling older siblings too) so you just learn how to dance to the rhythm of their unique family. In the moments that these sweet sisters wanted to love on baby brother we captured it and when they were ready to do their own thing we were able to take those moments to cherish some intimate moments with just mom, dad and baby. Each frame was filled with the authentic silliness of their family of 5 and the sweet sacred details of bringing a new life into their home. Baby Jack literally just went for the ride which I foresee being his laidback personality to come. He just loved to be close to them all and adapted to the attention and snuggles.
Thank you so much to this family for letting me celebrate your family in this way and for welcoming me into your home to capture these memories for you. It is always an honor for me!
