2020 A Year in Review

Part Two

Well, I’ve been trying to write down these thoughts for weeks. The year is already spinning and we are only 20 days in. I’ve been wrestling with finding a word that best describes my intention for this coming year and the word I’ve finally landed on is…

Creation

You see 2021 is going to mean another year of life upheaval and change for our family. We will be moving overseas this Spring, leaving the community and family we love to create something new, simple, and hopefully life-giving. My prayer for this year is that I find a new rhythm and balance to my roles as mother, wife, business owner, artist, woman, friend, and educator which is why I almost chose the word “Balance” but over the last couple days I’ve been pouring myself into an Enneagram book and it’s really opened up my heart to want MORE for my year. I want to create something new, wild, beautiful and different from what I’ve been doing. I want to lean into this next season of the unknown and create something life-giving and soul igniting.

Who knows how it will look, what seedling dreams will grow. But I am creating big and different goals this year and feel really excited about them!

So I have so many photos this year that I want to share, I think I’ll be doing a Part 3 year in review blog as well! I’m hoping to share my artistic and personal goals with you for my 2021 along with the rest of my favorite images of 2020! So be on the lookout for that too! Hopefully before the end of January :P
