What made you say YES to hiring Hanna Hill Creative?

I have been a midwife for over 14 years, practising independently for 3 and although I have gained a wealth of experience in this time and consider myself good at what I do, web design is not on my list of skills! Making the change to Independent Midwifery and venturing into the world of self-employment meant I had to stray from my comfort zone and learn a lot! One being marketing and creating a website. I had always envied other more professional looking websites and wished I could create something as good but unfortunately my skills did not go that far!

I looked into the option of hiring someone many times, to help make my website better or to create a whole new one but I was worried that they wouldn't understand the uniqueness of my work and what I wanted to highlight. Birth work encompasses varied and unique professions and I wanted my website to reflect who I was and the varied and holistic services that I offered. I worried that would be lost in creating a standard website loaded with information.

I admired Hanna's passion for the birth world and the work she did and had followed her for a while. I knew a long time ago that when the time was right, I wanted Hanna to help me create an inspiring website. From my very first contact with Hanna I knew instantly it was the right decision and I was excited to start working with her to create something awesome!

What was your favorite part of working together?

Hanna just understood the vibe I was going for and was able to bring together my vision for a new, fresh and inviting new website and logo. Hanna was friendly and approachable and offered some incredible suggestions. I was able to email her with any questions I had and she always responded promptly.

The whole process from start to finish was effortless and easy to understand. Hanna provided clear steps for me to follow for the parts I needed to complete and each step of the process was completed quickly. I was updated regularly of how the process was coming along. I trusted Hanna completely in that she was going to deliver amazing results and that she did! My new website looks amazing and I cant wait to show it off!

What we’ve done together…

Debbie and I collaborated on her website to be the muse and inspiration for my Rose Quartz Website Template we built it knowing we wanted it to be filled with helpful and inviting information. We wanted it to feel approachable to all midwives and doulas who may not have a lot of professional photos but want to show their phone photos and personality with professionalism and style.

Debbie is a holistic independent midwife based in the North East of England. She supported me with my second pregnancy so our connection went beyond design and into the birth space itself. She is passionate about empowering families to birth outside the mainstream system and advocate for their choices either at home or in hospital.

I was honored to help her create a simple and evolved branding plan and a website that more than fit her needs but actually became a place she was proud to share with her community.
