Hannahill Photography has crazy, sad and wonderful news. Chris and I are moving back to the South East. We will be moving ourselves over to Durham, North Carolina at the end of the summer, so Chris can start his Masters degree at Duke University. This is crazy and wonderful and so sad to leave my amazing clients, families, couples and community here in Kansas City. A lot is unknown about Hannahill Photography during this transition but I'll be photographing as much as humanly possible.

Kansas City has been such a wonderful place for our first years of marriage and we will miss our people here so dearly. For those of you with Weddings in the Fall on my calendar don't worry for a second, flights are already booked for me to come back in the Fall and with that will be days open for Fall family sessions as well. These days will be limited but available to all my awesome previous clients and those who have been waiting for the Fall to arrive to snag a Hannahill Photography session.

While it really saddens me to leave KC we are actually super excited about North Carolina and all the possibilities there. If you know anyone over that way feel free to send them my email cause I'll be on the hunt for people to grab a cup of coffee with.

Frequently asked Questions:

What is the difference between Mini Sessions & Morning/Evening Sessions?

There are a few key differences between these two sessions.

Morning/Evening Sessions are:

Our full 1 hour sessions
These can be newborn, in home, outdoor, documentary style or just in a location you love and want a session at.
These are for immediate family only but if you'd like the include the extended family there is only a $25 charge per pair added.
They include 50+ fully edited images sent to you in an online gallery for you to download, share and make prints with
Standard Family Sessions are $250 but feel free to message me HERE to get a copy of our Investment guide with all of the different types of sessions, whats included and their cost.

Mini Sessions are:

30 minutes long from "hello" to "all finished" and you need to be at least 5 minutes early to insure you get all of your allotted time because these sessions are booked back to back.
They are held at a predetermined location depending on the time and day you choose.
They include 20 fully edited images sent to you in an online gallery for you to download, share and make prints with.
They cost $150 and the full payment is due to reserve your slot.

What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Overcast, even drizzly weather can make for good photographs...Umbrellas are fun! I understand that it’s not feasible for all situations. If the weather is looking “questionable,” I will check in with you and we will determine if our session will take place or should be rescheduled. Due to a very limited booking schedule, I do my absolute best to hold sessions on your reserved day and time. If we have to cancel due to POURING rain, most likely your session will be moved to the following day, SUNDAY same place and time.

Do you use "Props" or "Pinterest" shot lists?

My style is not like everyone else’s, my hope is always to give you real life photos. Our sessions are very organic and laid back. If you like my photographs, what you're seeing is a reflection of this...I don't want the end result to feel contrived. I really strive to connect with each family, and photograph in a way that feels right with each family.

But one prop I always suggest is bringing a blanket! I will in every session ask you guys to sit, either on the grass or ground so it's always helpful to have a blanket for everyone to cuddle and land on.
