Hoping to select 2-4 moms at different seasons of the journey to begin sessions as soon as possible

Motherhood is powerful and beautiful but you know what? it's also vulnerable and scary. Maybe it's just me but I'm in love with moms who share openly about where they are at. That's honestly why I share so openly, it's cathartic to who I am becoming as a mom, to document the changes and struggles day today. From the moments of pure joy to the stretch marks that have not "lightened with time"
I want this series to be about the everyday highs and lows of this choice of motherhood. Because It's not just a simple act, it's a lifetime commitment and calling. We lay down our bodies, self-interest, and space to fill it up with a precious new life. It's a constant battle of being 100% worth it and 100% hard. I can't imagine wrapping that all up in a photography session but I want to give a visual voice to moms who need a little cathartic self-love.
I want this series to give moms in all different walks and seasons the ability to be seen and celebrated in all the incredible work they do as parents.

A Little About Me.

I am a new mom myself. I get how vulnerable and exhausting this season can feel. I think it’s really important that I be willing to share my journey of ups and downs, body and story with you if I plan to ask you to be open.

Guys my journey so far has been hard, from an unexpected Csection that broke my heart to a body that is far from “snapping back” I feel very isolated most days.

But the reality is Motherhood is just not something we should do alone, unseen and in the dark. We deserve a celebration and You deserve images of you and your littles.

Also please don’t get me wrong. I am not comfortable in front of the camera, I often dread getting photos done and looking through photos of myself. That’s me being honest!

But I know that one day I will want these days captured, want to look back on these snuggles and how I was as a new and young mom.

With every photograph I capture with Jude I know I’m bottling up our story not just for me but for him.
